About the event
In this workshop, we show you how to guide your students from story imitation to innovation. Teaching your students an effective method for changing stories they know, playing with the story, exploring ideas and possibilities for story innovation moves them closer to confident story invention.
This workshop will include exploring the many opportunities for talking & writing across six types of communication (genre). We will show you how to provide daily opportunities for writing prior to the shared writing element of the STS teaching sequence.
